INSIDE THE PRO SHOP:

A third generation Chico native, Doug Timmons has been at the ERGC since its beginning. Another assistant professional, Doug is the Junior Golf Coordinator at the club. He doesn't stop working with young people at the club, but he's the varsity golf coach at the San Dieguito Academy.

Doug began playing golf in his senior year of high school in Chico and has gone on to attend the Jim McClain Golf School at PGA West in the desert.

Doug is there every Wednesday morning to get the Men's Club on their way and he does it with a smile.

In addition to his duties at the club, he's founded his own clothing line, PAHR FAIRWAY ESSENTIALS, www.Pahr72.com out of his garage. Check it out and maybe he'll start paying us royalties for wearing his clothing. Just kidding Doug, we hope you become the next Nike.

Doug got his card a couple of years back and from what he's demonstrated, he's going to make a great professional.
