LAST CALL - 2011 Stableford Tournament

REMINDER - There are only 2 tournaments left to qualify for the 2011 Points Cup Championship.

This month's tournament is the Stableford Tournament. The Stableford Tournament is an individual 18-hole event. Points are added or subtracted on each hole depending on your net score for that hole (gross score in the Championship Flight). The winner is the competitor who scores the highest number of points.

The tournament is scheduled for Sunday, November 13 with tee times starting at 10:00AM.

For those of you with questions regarding the Points Cup Championship below are the most frequently asked questions:

Q1. IF my index is right on the margin of a flight, which flight will I play in for December tourney?

Q2. Same question, but for Points Cup?

A1&2. We’ll be using the December 1 Index for both the December 4th tourney and the Points Cup Championship. IF you are a 10.0 or less, you’ll play A Flight. IF you are between 10.1 and 15.0, you’ll play B Flight. IF you are a 15.1 or higher, you’ll play C Flight.

Q3. Why are the Points Cup totals above different than the flight totals on the website?

A3. Some players earned points in multiple flights (either thru reduction in index, Peoria flight in member-guest, or migrating from A to Championship flight), and it is the TOTAL points that are reported above. So look on the left hand side of the points page to see your total points.

Q4. If someone qualifies, but can’t play in PCC on December 11, who takes their place?

A4. We’ll just move down the list to the next lower place until all 4 spots are filled.

Q5. If there is a tie on points for the final spot, what is the tiebreaker?

A5. Tiebreaker is: Most tournaments played in 2011, if still tied, coin flip.
